CPR and First Aid Training since 2001.
Safety First was established shortly after Marty's experience working for the American Red Cross. Being frequently approached by people inquiring about CPR and first aid classes, Marty recognized the demand and decided to take action. Initially, the venture involved renting manikins, but soon progressed to acquiring her own equipment. Today, we take great pride in declaring that Safety First has been diligently serving the Magic Valley and beyond for more than 22 years.

Attaining certification should not be a daunting task. To accommodate the varying number of individuals seeking certification, we offer flexible options. We can arrange to conduct the classes at your preferred location, making it convenient for you and your group. Alternatively, you are welcome to join our classes at our home office in Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. We strive to make the certification process as seamless and accessible as possible for all participants.
Services
All cards are valid for 2 years after successful completion of my class.
CPR
Class Booking Deposit (No show clients will not get their money back): $20
Adult CPR and First Aid: $40
Adult, Child and Infant CPR and First Aid: $45
AED option add-on: $5
Healthcare BLS (American Heart Association): $47
If you did an online course and need CPR skills checkoff:
- I have to provide the BLS card and sign it: $25
- You were given a BLS card for me to sign: $10
First Aid
First aid gives everyday people the knowledge and skills to respond to a medical emergency until more qualified help arrives.
AED
AED (automated external defibrillator), is used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
Our Team
Marty Buss
Owner & InstructorMarty, a native of the Magic Valley, has been deeply devoted to aiding others from a young age. Over the course of a decade, she held various integral roles on the Board of United Way, including Secretary, Vice President, and President, contributing significantly to their mission. Additionally, her commitment to service led her to work as the Health and Safety Director and Disaster Services Coordinator at The American Red Cross, where she further honed her expertise in helping communities during critical times.
For the past six years, Marty has played an active role in the committee of Magic Valley Citizens for the 4th of July, actively participating in organizing and enhancing community celebrations. Her extensive experience, combined with unwavering dedication, makes her an invaluable asset to any initiative she takes on.
